Studio Shows
Bobbie’s work is always exhibited at her studio, but it is the seasonal shows that draw the most attention. The last Saturday in April,
patrons come to see the newest glazes and pots offered in the scenic grounds of her historic Lake Norman home.
The first Saturday in
November is the biggest day at BhBlack Pottery. Called Harvest Day, hundreds of collectors come to see the dazzling display of ceramics
under the spectacular fall foliage. A large cauldron of homemade Brunswick stew cooks over an open fire and visitors enjoy the fellowship
while getting started in the Christmas gift list or choosing pieces for themselves.
The first weekend in December, Bobbie also hosts
a Christmas open house. Enjoy the spiced apple cider and some holiday goodies while you finish your seasonal shopping in a relaxed
atmosphere away from the crowded malls and busy traffic.
Visiting Bobbie’s studio is more than shopping, it is an experience to remember.
Exquisite handcrafted Stoneware Jewelry, blending pottery pendants and semi-precious gemstones, is also available at the studio and
sales. While the studio is open most weekdays, it is best to call ahead for daily hours of operation.
